yes, I'm planning to buy this when the paperback is out in April, as she covered the area around Park Lane Aston at the same time (early 60's) as my mom had my younger brother and sister at home in Parliament St. (off Park Lane), so that must have been her patch.

I read her earlier book, Twelve Babies on a Bike: Diary of a Pupil Midwife https://www.amazon.co.uk/Twelve-Bab...=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1331566155&sr=1-2 and really enjoyed her easy writing style and honesty.
