Hello Lyn,

I really was hoping to say I could join you all tomorrow - but it`s not to be.

I have a raffle prize, the book `Birmingham - The Sinister Side`, so will keep it for the next time.

Best wishes to all - Annie.

Haven`t quite plucked up the courage to post or reply, but still enjoy browsing the site.

Looking forward to tomorrow Lyn, but have packed my brolly just in case lol!!!!!!! Coming via friends , but hoping to be there around 12.30.
Annie, once you start posting, it's addictive, but I agree the first steps are hard, I wondered if anyone would reply to my thread and if it was in the right place and so on, but everyone is great, I had lots of replies and help and the first meet we went to was brilliant, everyone so friendly and welcoming, hope you get posting and come to the next one.
Sue

Hi Lynn, many thanks for today's get together, it was my first and it wont be my last. It was good to meet friendly Birmingham people and thank you for letting me win the first raffle prize. :adoration: Carol

Oh Carol I am jealous!!! I was due to go but I hurt my knee (just walking to my daughter's house) and I cannot weight-bear. As a consequence I am a tad cross as you can imagine. Nice for you to win a prize on your first meet, how lucky is that?

Hopefully next time I will be in better shape..............

Looks like a great success well done once again Lyn. Sorry couldn't be there hopefully will make it for the next one

Lovely to meet you all today at the Jewellers Arms, well done Lyn, look forward to the next one.
Katie
