    I' looking for info about Smethwick West Railway Station from around 1881. What Train companies used it, was it a busy station and any photos. I have just found out that my great great grandad worked there as a railway Labourer does anyone know what this would have involved? Thanks in advance

    Unfortunetly no, as I said in my original post it's on the corner of Soho Road and St Michaels Hilll opp St Michaels church. I don't even know how old the name is I would say the building was built in Victorian/Edwarian times. I mean it could just be what someone decided to call their home.
