    My Great Grandads Shop

A few years ago I posted about my great grandads shop in handsworth. I have now found out that it was a woolworths too. I have seen a photograph of the old woolworths shop, but I am still searching, if possible, to find a photograph of his shop. It was 89-91 lozells road, handsworth.

Rising Sun Pub in Heneage Street

A few years ago I commented in a topic about The Rising Sun Beerhouse on Talbot Street in Winson Green. I can confirm that my Great Nans dad, my Great Great grandad owned and ran it. As on the 1901 census, he is listed as a Publican living at Talbot Street. :)
