Uncovered Birmingham history due to extreme weather

The recent extreme weather conditions are revealing many interesting features and artifacts across Europe. Has anything of historical significance shown up in Birmingham and its surrounding areas, such as in the drying up of rivers and streams or the dying back of vegetation in fields and rural areas?

Let's record anything of interest before it disappears again !

I did a drone survey over Windermere Fields in Wake Green a few weeks back. With a bit of digital processing you can see the previous football pitch markings, some ancient fields marking and the WWII Dig for victory allotments set up by a local school.

Are the WW2 allotments the markings at the northern end Mort ? Also interesting that some markings are still visible after the first fire (dark patch SW position) or are they paths ?

Viv, most of the stuff at the north is football pitches, i later yeas they were only marking the pitches out at the north end. This is where the ancient fields marking tend to be too. We think the markings are still visible in the burnt bit are the allotments. You can also see the tracks of the fire engine too.

The pale areas by the burnt patch were/are well trodden pathways along both sides and through the middle of the meadow.
The darker patches are where the meadow has been mown.
Then the area burnt in the second fire.
The white patch is the carpark.
It is actually quite hard to see the site of the first fire as there are trees and brambles surrounding it
