Used to pop the Woodman for a pie and a pint of a dinnertime many moons ago always a nice atmosphere . I'm sure the landlord was a lovely Irishman.

The Woodman pub owner said the opening date for the project was "so far in the future it started to feel like a mirage".

But as I posted #50 September 2022 it was known that Curzon Street Hub wasn't due to open until 2033 - this date seems to be 2039 now. But there is an awful lot of building work to be done before then. The construction of Curzon Square and the Station complex itself.
Students in term time and building workers are customers. Perhaps more could be done to promote the Victorian pub and real ale? It would be a shame to lose this one.
