"Kings Norton School" ie the old grammar school had no connection with the workhouse.
By 1906/07 there was no longer a separate workhouse for Kings Norton. The Kings Norton Union Workhouse which covered Kings Norton was at Selly Oak and later became Selly Oak Hospital. The only school at that time connected with the workhouse was on the Shenley Fields Cottage Homes site.
