Morning Lyn, as usual always there for me. I didnt expect to get past Nehemiah. Amazing what you and Pam have done. Wish some of my family were as kind. Sorry for messaging you directly, wasn't sure if i could post. Much appreciated. Is the site safe? Surely enough members to cough up a fiver. No doubt will be in touch Thank you, Keith..

Thanks Pam, yes I just found his marriage cert 1829. Just no Nehemiah as 1834. But got proof of that now. There were a few Nehemiah Johnson deaths all at Witton Cemetery. Thank you once again. You and Lyn are gems. Keith.

Death reg on GRO - age a bit out but not enought to cause concern,

By clicking on the white disc on the left it turns bue and tells me how the record is available. If all you want is the record (central part of a certificate) the digital image would be fine.

Nehemiah's brother Ralph was in All SaInts a few times and appears on the records now available. Do you want to see if you can find them? Or for me to post them?
Lyn found one and told me - a search revealed others.

Not to throw a spanner in the works but how certain is it that Nehemiah was William's father?

On the 1911 census William lists the streets where all his family were born and for William himself it was Clifton Road, Aston. Nehemiah's son William's birth was registered in Bham not Aston which in itself is not a deal breaker.

However, on William's (Nehemiah's son) baptism his dob is listed as 20 Jun 1879 whilst on William's (Agnes Louisa's husband) RAF record his dob is listed as 27 May 1879.

Possibly making him the son of a Thomas Johnson and a Matilda Wainwright.
