IN OUR GARDENS 2025

Back in the late sixties when I bought my shop dad made two of these for me to display fruit and veg outside, when I sold the shop I used them for tools in my workshop.
Now I'm finished with all that I tarted them up and intend to use them for pot plant displays but I'm no gardener so advice needed on what potted plants to put in them.

lovely job eric...looks like you may get 2 or 3 med pots in each section...could suggest pansies...petunias...bizzy lizzies and for the front put trailing lobelia as they should trail down nicely...just an idea..

Ideal for herbs if you like cooking too.

Disaster. :(
I opened the kitchen blind this morning to be greeted by this sight down the garden

So after 20+ years I am on the hunt for a new bird bath bowl. Unless we decide to replace the base as well but that is 30+ years old.
I think it might have been a fox as I found some "poo" nearby which looked like fox's (according to the images on Google). We do have foxes around.
Was met by a similar situation today except that fortunately my bowl remained in one piece as it landed on a fleshy plant. The bowl had been in place for over ten years so I think the sooner we catch the golden eagle or whatever the better!
