I seem to remember it as a pink cleaning paste, very slightly abrasive. Of course, they probably had many other products, including valve grinding paste, though the latter was never pink when I used it on occasion.

Felt familiar! I do remember the factory in Shirley back in 1940's, on the Stratford Rd. opposite Tanworth Lane or somewhere very near. Hadn't realised the link to Brylcream and I did use it! Well I played a lot of cricket and if it was good enough for Dennis Compton.I thought we had been down this path before!
