Osbourne Road School

Erdington tech was in edwardsroad same side as the fire station done my part 2 city and guilds there
 
See the wrought iron railings on the very left...they belonged to the school....I got my head stuck in them and the Fire Brigade had to get me out....they turned me upside down and brought me out face first....the railings were late burned of for the war effort. Grahame
 
1904 School closed for 14 days where up to 50% of children were absent suffering from chickenpox.

Was that the college in Mason Road by the swining baths?
Yes , you are correct...I think the road the school was was on Edwards Rd. i got my ONC there Grahame Good friend was David Lamb who was a RAF cadet and worked for Dunlop as a draughtsman.
 
There was a Fire station at the corner of Mason and Edwards, right next door to the college another bit of silly input ..the secretary to the school principle was a lady called Jenny Grout...the reason i know this is because she married my uncle Bill Parsons much later.
