Young Girl Murdered in 1962 Aston

Sorry if this is the incorrect thread to post this, but I unable to find a suitable thread.

Body of two year old Pauline Johnson found murdered at her home on Shefford Road at Aston in Birmingham.

I came across this while viewing Mace Archive site this afternoon, Does anyone on here know anything about this young girls murder, I cannot find any information at all, checked newspapers, death index, electoral rolls to see if and when the family lived in Shefford Road etc, drew a blank at every turn, I cannot ever recall hearing about this poor child in all the years I lived in Aston.. ta very much in advance of any info , John

No point Lyn, cos there isn't anymore information or film about it, I copied Body of two year old Pauline Johnson found murdered at her home on Shefford Road at Aston in Birmingham. and that is all it states, 5th December 1962..
 
What about the girl they found murdered in the SHS toilets in the 60s
right back of our house it was a Saturday morning i saw the body the body being taken away in a coffin from my bedroom window
the Police came to our house to Question my Dad
this murder always draws a blank falling on deaf ears
but hey i was there
 
found one newspaper article very short but there maybe more..just says the girl aged 16 was found naked in the toilets of the school..anne daniels of mansfield road this was in 1966..will see if i can find any other updates..found another one that says she was found by the caretaker and that she was a factory worker..

like i said my Dad was interviewed by the Police along with alot of adult males in the area
my Mum did not let me out to play for weeks after
Spooky at the time there was no fence beteen our garden and where she was found
Police also checked our out houses

i well remember in 1965/66 the abduction and murder of little margaret reynolds from aston who was found on cannock chase..i lived in villa st quite a way from where she lived in clifton road and the police came and checked all of our back gardens and the area...its odd but mansfield road were anne daniels lived and the school where she was found was very close to where margaret reynolds lived in clifton road so i wonder if there was a connection with the culprit...i guess we will never find out now but if only they had back then the technology of DNA that we have now...very sad

I believe this is the case you are referring to.

Her full name was Elizabeth Anne Daniels and her murderer was Michael John Collins…
