Hi,
This is my first post here, and I'm hoping someone can help me. I've just purchased a large gentlemans single speed bicycle, with 28 " wheels, for my son (it needs a total rebuild). Now, the frame number is GPO 14798, but it has a war department arrow stamped along side the letters GPO. Underneath the mudguards, it's Karki paint, on top, it's a mixture of black, karki, red and rust !
Does anyone know who may have made this bike ?, my guess is BSA, as it is identical to a Mk 5* from WW2, with rod brakes
Any thoughts ?
Regards
Keith
