tom..i thought it looked good but im pressed for time lately so i will look in a bit...

i am confused as to what locking up means....

all i do is google BIRMINGHAM WORKHOUSE.... then click on the first link....its by PETER HIGGINBOTHAM....

i will look again for the link but there seems to be more than one....i am getting confused again.....:cry::cry::cry:




 
hi all ive just had a quick look on the birmingham workhouse site and reading down the 1881 census of inmates is quite sad..in that year there was just over 2,400 inmates and what makes it even sader is the ones with...idiot or imbacile againt their names...all ages were there from 2 months old to 80 plus....:(
