Does anyone know what happened to Miss Parker, Principal of Woodville?

Impossible Not Miss P she was immortal !!!

I was at the school when she retired. I went back to see her a year later when I went to Handsworth Grammar and she was surprisingly pleased to see me. Regretfully I never went back (I was going to go back when I left school but I'm sure she would have been very disappointed that, after all her hard work, I had become a professional footballer). I moved to Solihull and was driving past Holyhead Road one day some 15 years ago when I noticed the school building had gone. That's when I wondered if she had moved away and lived to a great age or whether she had died living at the school. Also I wondered if she had relatives or whether the school and all Miss P's stuff was just auctioned off. You may be interested to know that the Builders has now been demolished and in the place of the school and the builders are two modern non descipt buildings. I also wonder what happened to other teachers who formed my early years at the school. Any info?

PS I am on friends Reunited and hope one day a reunion is organised so I can chew the fat on the old place.

Yes I'm afraid I am a Villa supporter. I did have a trial for the Baggies (and the Villa and Bristol City etc) but ended up at Torquay  (poor club, nice place to live). I remember Jeff arriving to pick up his daughter just before the 1970 world cup in Mexico. he had a brand new white Ford Escort Mexico with is name emblazoned on it and covered in sponsored logos. All the parents crowded around and wished him well. Unfortunately he missed a sitter in an important game against Germany I think (was'nt his fault really). The next time he picked his daughter up all the parents shunned him and ushered their children away from him muttering things like "that man lost us the world Cup" !!!!. My parents still live by the Albion ground so I do make that journey on a regular basis. I do remember your sister Audrey. She was a year or two older than me however I remember thinking she was OK for a girl (which was quite something coming from a 9 year old boy). I was down to go to the reunion but it was cancelled at the last minute because the organiser (Dave) was in hospital.

Forgot to mention my teachers were :
Mrs Poval , Mrs Briscol and Miss Cuthbert and the fearsome Miss Parker.
I liked Miss Cuthbert she was young, careing and friendly. I respected the others (even more so now).
One other story involved me going to the outdoor loo (I'm sure everything was the same as when Woodville was fist used as a school before the war). I pulled the chain and the crock top from the overhead cistern fell on my head breaking it in half and knocking me sick. Nowadays I could have sued but in sheer panic at being told off by Miss P I put it back for the next unsuspecting soul and went back to the class nursing a lump on my bonce as big as an egg.

Thank's for the email via Friends Reunited. I don't have full a access yet so I could'nt reply.
I do remember Glen. He lived on the corner house at Nijon Close. He was a year or two older than me but he kindly invited me to his house for tea once. I did'nt realise that Wendy Cuthbert (who took us for sewing  and arts/crafts ie colouring in Christmas cards) actually attended the school as a pupil. Did she go on to be a teacher?
When the school closed I had to do my final year of primary education at a large state school. I soon realised I had been in a protected time bubble at Woodville (I tell my 8 year old daughter it was a bit like the school in "Little House on the Prairie"!!!).
I like the idea of retireing to the gulf coast (though I'm not old enough yet you know!). Go on tell me how much I would pay for a nice little place near the sea. Oh and what is the weather like in the Winter!
