Eric love the snow it looks like powder. How did you get that effect or was it the texture of the board you painted on. Still have to put my one and only effort on to give everyone a laugh. Jean.
 
Eric, a very attractive winter scene, beautifully done. I particularly like to see in winter, black trees silhouetted against a pink sky. Can I detect a touch of pink in your watercolour? Anthea:)
 
Anthea, no Pink I'm afraid, its done with just 4 clours, Indigo, Yellow Ochre, Olive Green and Burnt Sienna with a touch of a cool blue in the sky, the support is a French watercolour Paper called Arches, comes in 3 textures, smooth, medium and rough, I prefer the rough to give texture. I very rarely use more than 6 colours in a painting, the less colours the more harmonious the resulting painting. Thank you all for kind comments.
