Winter family

My mother, who is 92, was once a nurse for the Winter family in 1950s. She lost touch with them and is wondering what happened to them. She knows that Hamish Winter has since died but wants to know what happened to his brother Bruce. All she knows is that they were originally from Scotland and were in the restaurant business. When she left their employ, she was given permission to wear their tartan, the
Lamont. We have searched the Internet to no avail so we are hoping someone can tell her of Bruce .

Could you give a little more detail, such as an address, to enable researchers to identify which Winter family you are referring to

She says they lived in Streetly but can’t remember the exact address. It was a large single home. There was the parents as well as 3 sons: Hamish, Donald and Bruce. She thinks Bruce and his father ran a vegetarian restaurant, Hamish was in agriculture and she’s unsure what Donald did. This was in 1954 or 1955.
