Windows 8.1 pro

bought my new Acer PC in August, came with W8.1 but PC world updated it to W10, slowly learning the system, only problem is 'burning' a CD, after pressing 'burn to disc' it brings a box up which says 'windows cannot read the disc, make sure that the disc used is a format that windows can recognise', yet these discs work perfectly well in my old windows 7 PC. I have a care plan with 'KNOWHOW who advised me to purchase another type of CD !!!!! Not very impressed with them. Much prefer my HP W7 PC, simple, logical. and straight forward. Eric
