William Hancox, Worcestershire Regiment

alandeej

knowlegable brummie
Hi, I've been on the Worcester regiment web site for info and now I'm more confused. I'm trying to find out about my grandad William Hancox who was in WW1. We have photo's he bought back from Ypres, so I would take it that he was there, but I do not know what regiment he would have been in? I know William Hancox (1964) died in battle, my grandad was wounded in 1916, and that is all I know, as I dont know what his Woc's number, I was told it would be on his medal, but my mom cannot find where my dad put all the medals. I am awaiting some photos that have my grandad in his uniform, I'm hoping that my mom rembers to look for them.
Any help would be grateful.:smile2:
