Yes. Mishail Hussain is a newsreader, so do know her. Apparently Diane Morgan is a comedian . I do remember seeing a rather peculiar tv program where she played a gormless idiot , which I;m sure she thought was very funny. Aisling Bea is another "comedian"; Fred Sirieix is someone I would know if I watched boring cookery programs, and Layton Williams. is an actor and dancer
Fred Sirieix is of course French and DNA testing remains illegal there. So they won't find many French matches. I'll be interested to see how they establish his ancestry. https://www.myfrenchroots.com/dna-testing-in-france/
I like the programme format, but the so called "celebrities" seem to be becoming increasingly unfamiliar with each series. I would recognise the face of Layton Williams from "Bad Education" from when Jack Whitehall was in it. Fred Sirieix used to be a maître d'hôtel (restaurant - front of house -"Here's your table" ), who somehow has became a TV celebrity. I'm vaguely interested in Ross Kemp and Will Young's background, but will probably watch the whole thing again, in the hope that someone has something more interesting in their past, than they themselves are.
It would be nice if they could get a few more people on that we do all know, rather than aim at some of the younger "celebrities", who they no doubt think will appeal to a younger audience, that probably won't watch it in any case Time to rename the show to "Do you know who we are?"
