I used this pub until it was demolished in 1965. I worked in an office opposite it. I paid the foreman 10 bob to take down the sign and my father and I carried it home to Hockley Brook. I cleaned it up and have displayed it in various homes over the years. The only photo I have was taken when it was still an Inn. My sign was clearly erected after this time as the 'Inn' is not on it. Does anyone have a more recent photo? Here is the sign at present in my summer house near Southampton.
