Where is This ? Pubs #4

Phil

Gone, but not forgotten.
Right your next one is this pub, it looks like a typical corner local. I have to say I know nothing about this one as I never drank in there. To my knowledge that is.

Alf,
There was a "Royal Albert" on the next corner of Park Lane and Upper Thomas St.would you be thinking of that ?.
"The Eagle" had green and brownish coloured tiles.Awful to look at, but the inside was O.K.

Ray,

I was going to put the Royal Albert up later, I won't bother now, so here is the pic now.

Dek,

We both know there was only one pub that was actually in Erskine St and that was the Midland Tavern, The Adelaide was on Vauxhall Rd. I might as well put a picture of your house up.

Phil,
Did a count up once, and I would guess there were about twenty pubs within a 10 minute walk of where I lived in Aston, and I do remember most of them...well it was my home and my playground,a nice neck of the woods to grow up in.

If you have got a couple of hours, I'll list all the pubs in Birmingham I have used and I won't mention the ones I have been thrown out of.
