I know nothing about trams, save what I have learned on here from studying photo's, and snippets of facts I have picked up.

That being said, here is my guess, let me stress guess. Did car no 519 operate out of Hockley Depot. If that is so I would say we are somewhere along the Soho Rd, somewhere like Grove Lane or Rookery Rd.

Have just checked through all these posts folks, and it is Phil who is the very nearest with Soho Road, but which junction ?
 
OtherHalf wins - it is the Soho Road/Grove Lane junction, well done (Phil was there but didn't say outright).

It looks to me like the corner of Grove Lane, Handsworth (opposite Ninevah Road) at its junction with Soho Road.
