Acocks Green Village I think by the traffic Island as now is.

Google location - 52°26'43.69" N 1°49'24.27" W

The buildings on the left appear to be the ones with Jeffries Hardware at the end. Looking at Google Street View they haven't changed much. If I remember correctly the Midland Red buses used to stop by the seat that's shown in the photo, whereas the Corporation buses stopped by what is now the library.

I presume that the area shown in the postcard is the central area of Acocks' Green as it mentions the terminus which I guess is where the tramcars terminated after their journey from the city.

Sorry Mike I posted in a rush. As said the shops to the left are still very much the same at roof level. Photo I think was with Warwick Road towards Greet ['Church Hill'?] to the Rear of the photographer and looking across 'The Green' (now the island and parking areas) up Shirley Road.
