Gone, but not forgotten.
I didn't think it would last for long, I realised after posting that I had left the name of the garage in full view, not that I would suggest that this is how Lloyd solved it. Knowing that Lloyd has an immense knowledge of the streets of Birmingham. Well done Lloyd.

I used to go up & down Lozells and Heathfield Rds a lot some years back, recognised the dormer-roof houses in the distance - but thought it was closer to the Villa Cross than it is, as there are some curved top windowed houses similar to the ones on the photo up there.
The Streetview shows it closer to Perry Barr end. About opposite where Heathfield House used to be I think?
You may already have seen elsewhere my mention of my father's shop on Villa Rd at Heathfield Rd jcn - before my time, but one reason I looked around there when travelling through.
The cars in the picture (rear of a Ford 100e Squire on the left, Phase 2 Standard Vanguard opposite) make this picture mid- to late- 1950s, I imagine.
