And iI Can Tell You Where They Was But Not The Streeet Name ,So May be Some One Else Can Tell Us Where They Was Right Uo To At Least The Mid Fifties To My Knowledge

Phil, I remember that part of the Horsefair many years ago, passing it as I walked back from the Lickey Hills. I beleive that it got its name from Horse Trading that went on years ago. There is a part of Aston Road that had a stepped kerb which may have been mentioned before.
 
Hi Tony most of the geography has gone even from ten years ago, but its strange once you start going around the city it all comes back. You soon find your way around.

Are you sure you've got the right café, El Sombrero was a tidy gimp from the Town Hall. Are you sure you are not thinking of The Las Vegas in Summer Row at the back of Chamberlain Square it was only a few moments walk.

geez i remember winning the jackpot in the las vegas in around the time of the picture, it was a lot of money but paid out in tokens only and had to spend the winnings in the club.
