Where is This? 20

Phil

Gone, but not forgotten.
Here's one for the transport fans, It should be no trouble to them. The rest of you mere mortals will have to use the surrounding buildings in assisting you to identify the location.

21/12/11. I'm not sure that this is the original photo that I am replacing.

Aah a mere mortal try ,,

It loks to me like,, Top of the hill on Stratford Road after Mermaid? pub
(Warwick rd junction) so the Road in the background on right of photo
would be Showell Green Lane ?#
Not a clue about the transport but the Roads/Junctions not changed much
Cheers JohnY

To Me It Looks ABIT lIKE The Top End Of Coventry Rd And The Junction Of Whit more Street Small Heath And The Buiding Of Bryants The Builders New Premises Being Built
Failing That It ,s The Other End Of Stratford Rd Just Up And Over The Old Camp Hill
300, Yards Past The Old King Edward Pub On Your Right Coming From Town And The Road On Your Right Will Take You Down Into Lady Pool Rd

I'm afraid the gods do not often smile down on us mere mortals, and in your case not in this instance, as it nowhere near Stratford Rd or the Mermaid.

Bearwood Road terminus, at the junction with Hagley Road. I grew up 1/2 mile from here (but after the 29 tram had been replaced by the B82 bus). The corner shop extreme left was George Masons, grocers.

Lloyd,

I knew as soon as you got out of bed after, that you would get this. As stated us mere mortals do not stand a chance when there is a bus or a tram or even a train in the scene.

I don't need to tell you, that you are right do I?

I don't know if you lot go on solving these items at this rate, I am going to run out of photo's in about ten years.

Phil
