Phil

Gone, but not forgotten.
Who can tell me where this is, for this one I need the street and the location for reasons that will become evident.

Well, I haven't the faintest idea. However, whilst the names that were identifiable and readable have been blanked there might be a clue in the farthest name on the right of the picture. It starts with A.D. Might this be one of many A.D.Wimbush outlets? The appearance and type of script used is reminiscent of how their shop name, at one time, was used.

As a PS. is this company still trading or where they long swalloped up by a conglomerate?

This pic reminds me of a street on the No.8 bus route just before you went down the hill past the Morris Commercial factory on the left. Wasn't Holdens Paint works there? Neechels Park was it?

Sorry on taking a second look two people have got within shouting distance

Hi phil;
i have a toss up here firstly i think its in hockley up past the big clock at warstone lane
on your right hand side of the rd and that of new facial shops are facing what is the police station
walk up warstone lane straight passing the clock heading if you like to constitution hill
for the love nor money i just cannot name that section if it is part of he warstone lane or did it change at the clock
and secondly i am tying with he idea that the blanked out nameused to be amusement arcade across the old lewis store
and its th olddale end as moss thinks but first choice top of warstone lane on the straight ;
