Where is This? 19

Phil

Gone, but not forgotten.
Lets try a religious theme, this should pose no problems as the location has been mentioned many times on this forum, but I don't think I have yet seen a photo.

No, sorry not Perry Barr or New Oscott, try a bit closer in to town.

Phil

Jean,

Its not in the Monument Rd area

Sylviasayer,

Its not Dale End, but you are getting closer.

2nd guess is it Bishop Ryder's Church, not sure of the street address, but could be Gem Street, but very near the Fire Station.

3rd guess if St. Peters - could be St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, off Broad Street.

Your second guess will do, Bishop Ryders Church, Gem Street it is. Well done you.

Phil, my parents married at Bishop Ryders and I was christened there, but I haven't any personal photos - just a wild (educated) guess.

loks like the christ church at the start of the stratford road just after the railway bridge
