Gone, but not forgotten.
I don't think this one will cause much bother, as there are easily recognised features, after this one I will give I will give these a break for another little while before they become too boring.

No sorry, neither of those. The dog would be a bit ancient now Dek as the photo was taken c1935.

Is it the river Rea at the junction of Cartland Road and Pershore Road, Stirchley. I remember as a teenager it used to flood a lot until the river bed was deepened and there is another brook that runs under Pershore Road.
 
Well done once again m.humphreys, it is Cartland rd where the Rea is bridged near to Pershore Rd. Here is another photo some 20 years earlier at the same spot, and another one of how it looks today.

It was always wet anywhere in the Rea Valley until they culvert-ed it, they even had floods in Digbeth as late as the 60's, and now there is talk of bringing the river back up to it's original level when they get around to revamping the Irish Quarter. I wish them the very best of luck in their endeavour.
