Gone, but not forgotten.
Ok lets see what you can do with this one, it was taken in 1890.

I'm very sorry but none of you are correct, let me say this I would be very surprised if any of you had not been inside the shop that was built at this location at sometime in your life.

Phil

Right Phil i assume it is in the town centre so i will say the Corner of Corporation St and Bull St i should think every brummie has been in Lewis.s. Dek

No I hadn't noticed your post at #15, but it still isn't right, and as I said you are horribly close. The thing is people today are just not used to seeing this location like this.

If you mean the junction of Bull St & The Minories which would be later covered over by Lewis's then you have got there in the end. Persistence pays.

Phil

Yes Phil the Minories( i couldn,t remember its name ).Dek i wouldn,t got it in a million years without your clue.

Yes well done, the thing is most of us today forget that the Minories was just an ordinary street at one time. Mind you looking back quite a few of our little side streets were built over the top of around the time the Minories was. I suppose it was the ever increasing demand for retail space and the desire to connect up shops. Once getting you into the store they didn't want you leaving.
