its one or the other to me
firstly i have got to say its the big van behind the wall of the bridge i can recall seeing it qiute often many years ago
and i just cannot recall what it was saying that van with the hand painted logo was there for donkeys time
and the two places that spring to my mind is this ;
the bus is parked up just past crawford st saltley just short of reaching the saltley viaduct and the building is the old cannal offices for the water ways
but had stopped of it use many years ago which the main entrance was in crawford st facing the pub
and secondly the only other place i think it is from memory if you came across from nechells co/op dairies nechells crossing the old darthmouth st as if you was going i
into town cross over the other side of the junctioncontinue in to townbefore you get to the corner to turn into newcannal st
you would have passed that spot but my money is the saltley rdand the building belonged to british water ways

Without sticking my neck out I would say I havent got a clue, but what's life if we don't take a risk now and then. I don't think its Stanier House in Holiday St. The only other building I would take a guess at would be the Albany Hotel.
I must admit I wasn't 100% sure, I wondered where the old Matthew Boulton tech college was - I attended there on day release from my apprenticeship at Metro-Cammell. Cunning bit of photo cropping there, Mike!
