Gone, but not forgotten.
No prizes for this one it's far too easy. Another well known transport café.

I might be able to tell you if I knew where Latifs were. If you mean New Canal St way then the answer is no.

Are they still in that area, I havent been down that way for years.

phil is the moor st sign a red herring...steve said it looks familar to him so could it be somewhere on the chester road...

It's nowhere near Moor St, I don't think buses parked up there and the nearest so far has been Ray.

Somethings telling me by the Racecourse, but I'n not 100% sure where it was.

My guess is opposite where the Bromford pub is/ corner Drews La.

col h,

I'm going to give it to you because the answer I have is The Bromford Café Bromford Lane. I'm sure I have a memory of it where you say it was near the end of Drew Lane and close to Rawlings Brothers Transport. This is the unclipped and untouched photo.

that is bristol rd and and as it was in them days
and later they invented the cafe name to the greay spoon as its known today
best wishes astonian ;;

Phil, I think the road on the left of the picture is Drews Lane and I remember the garage to the right of the cafe. It would be opposite the Bromford pub I suppose.

That is exactly where I think it was, and that looks like an old fuel pump to the right of the photo. I think I have a very hazy memory of this place from the early 60's. That car and those vans look like they date from the late 50's to the early 60's.
