Sorry nobody on the right track yet, Ragga I'm not sure where the "Flat" you refer to is located. I have something in my head telling me it was around the Sand Pits area. if that is so then your answer is no as well.

I think I am correct in saying that the little hardware shop eventually took over the whole corner of the street and became Jackson's Bathroom's a company that fitted most of the inside toilets and bathrooms in Birmingham Council Houses. A company owned by a Councillor Jackson.
