Yes it IS Broad Street, but on the www.old-ukphotos.co.uk site its listed in Wolverhampton! Quite a few mistakes on that site, particularly where buses are concerned since the researcher thinks the location is where the destination place says where the bus is going to!

Can anyone work out the name of the car showroom on the left of the photo here please?

Richie it's the showroom of Reeve and Stedeford Ltd., supplier of limosines and high class automobiles. We need someone with an old A-Z to determine which street corner it was on. Oozells Street maybe?
Mike

Reeve and Stedeford were Daimler agents on the corner of Oozells St. On the opposiite corner (off shot, to the left of the photo) is the 'Blue church', now a nightclub.

Thanks Mike and Lloyd, I thought I remembered a car showroom on the the corner of Oozells Street from going to the Motor Tax office that used to be up there, but wasn't sure.

Reeve & Stedeford Ltd Motor Car Agents & Dealers at 53 & 54 Broad Street. Were located on the corner of Broad Street - Oozells Street.
