Where is This? 122

Phil

Gone, but not forgotten.
Shouldn't be to hard to recognise, it was still pretty much the same the last time I was out that way. Mind you it was about 20 years ago.

Not hard at all, Phil. Waterloo Road / Cape Hill junction, with Windmill Lane in the background. The tram is probably a no.29 from Bearwood, and the view is before October 1939 when the Dudley Road routes were converted to bus.

Ta-daa!!

I knew you would get this. not only because it has got a tram on it but because its your patch. I just thought I might get away with it, as you may have been out at work or something.

Photo was taken on January 6th 1938 it is car 130 on the 29 Bearwood service. It would have been withdrawn from service in April 1939.

Lloyd at 19 minutes it was fast, but a long way off the record at 3 minutes. Well done all the same.
