Gone, but not forgotten.
In the interests of fairness I have included two photo's of early Birmingham for your identification, One in the north and one in the south.

I won't tell you which is which, I will let you work that out for yourself. Where #1 is off a road with a toll gate & House. Where #2 is once again on the outskirts of Birmingham somewhere.

You don't need to solve the two, if you know where one is then say.

Which one, is the one you think is Sutton Park or Streetly. It doesn't matter because neither are, Sorry.

Is number 2 the junction of Redditch Road/Birmingham Road/Longbridge Lane at West Heath?
A wild guess for Number 1..Tyburn Road?

I think No.1 is the Villa Road/Hampstead Road toll house. Don't know about No.2 - could be at Warstock?

the road sign by the bus say's sandwell so it must be on a sandwell bus route just entering sandwell years ago

No 2 is the toll gate & House at Villa Rd / Hamstead Rd . Well done, only one to go

It could be and it is Alcester Rd at its junction with Druids Lane at the Maypole.

Thats the two of them now, Well done John.

And the bus is one of the rare Morris-Commercial 'Imperial' models, at the southern terminus of the cross-city 17 service to Chester Road/Sutton Road. Erdington.
