Triplex Foundry of Toll end, and later of Upper Church Lane started life a Horrell and Bowman - Builders and Builders merchants, also ironmongers.
They made a Field kitchen for the army, which remained in service up to the 1990s - hence my interest. It's the one in the foreground, with oven and low cooking hobs on the side of it.

The National Archive have a document
Field workers. Triplex Foundry Ltd., Great Bridge, Staffs - https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C2186857
My understanding of Field workers is agricultural workers. To save me £8.40, I wondered what anyone else thinks Field workers means with regards to an iron foundry, please?
