Hi Bernie Think you are right the car is missing a large chrome wrap around heavy type bumper it looks like the one parked in Whitalls the builders front garage I believe it was bought for Gordon Whitall but he didn't like it he drove a Rover 14 saloon (1938 ish ) I think it was a Buick super straight eight it was exchanged for a Daimler I worked at Whitalls in 1950 my first job details a bit foggy but I think its a Buick cheers Tom
