West End cinema in New Street

Have had this photo for a while, but it came up elsewhere.. The architecture confirms that this was on the site of the Piccadilly Arcade. However the 1924 Kellys describes it as the Picture House , and Victor Price states that the Picture house closed in june 1924., with no mention of it reopening as the West End cinema. Meanwhile there are numerous adverts for events at the West End cinema on the corner of Broad Street/Suffolk Street. Can anyone else provide any information?
