Wesleyan Chapel. Lichfield Road

The wedding photo of my wives grandparents on the 23rd June 1928, they were married at the Wesleyan Chapel on the Lichfield Road which was located between Upper Portland St and Victoria Road, Ernest Hawker and Eva Allsopp, the vicar who married them is one of the two vicars in the photo F.Donovan Beck, Eva was an active member of the chapel and Ernest's father Albert was the caretaker,

Three photo's taken probably in the 1920's by I think Eva Allsopp outside of the Wesleyan Chapel on the Lichfield Rd, Eva was a active member of the chapel. It looks like they were all taken on the same day.

brilliant photos john and so clear...i was just thinking that it was not so many years before those photos were taken that woman could not show their ankles here we see the brides dress just below the knees and the 2 little girls dresses above the knee...
