pamela floyd

master brummie
once again im looking for help to try and find our brother or sister who we know was born in 1954 was told it was a still born baby , and think it was a boy, with the help of key hill brian, and others on the forum we was able to find our sister renee born in 1952 and visit her resting place in warstone lane she would of been 60 in september,we would love to find the other child but up to know have had no luck, the family name is floyd, thank you x

Pamela, there were a lot of still borns buried at Lodge Hill, I think with just their surname and "stillborn", may be worth giving that a try.
Good luck, Sue

Still born babies would have been baptised and interred at a local cemetery, or a cemetery that the family choose.

Many still born babies were buried in the catacombs at Warstone Lane this was because they were not used and I think the council purchased them for this purpose.

thank you wendy, i dont think this baby is in warston lane, or key hill as brian sent us all the floyds that were in warston lane, and key hill when we found our sister reene, we would not of found her with out the help of brian and other members on the forum its a fantastic site, pam x

hello pam i dont know if it would be of help to contact the hospital where this unfortunate event took place or maybe a local undertaker might help you

I am happy to check the records I have but will need a name and date of death. If you don't want to post it on the forum send me an IM.

Hi Wendy, please bear with me I am new to this, I don't know if I am doing thos correctly hope I am, forgot to say thankyou.

Hi again don't think I am, so I will start again. My sister was born on January 13th 1960, she had a post mortem on the 15th January so burial would have been anytime after the 16th of January.

Obviously Mom couldn't name her, so she would be Baby Wenn, an unusual name which people always get mixed up, using Wem,Web, or Wen, which may be an issue. We would dearly love to find her, I have tried everywhere I don't know what else to do.

Please help if you can thankyou.

Hello Pam, I would dearly love to find my sister but I seem to hit a brick wall every time I look, hope you find your other brother or sister you are looking for, I think about my sister every day, Zooie x

I have checked Warstone Lane and Key Hill with no luck.. Have you tried Witton or Yardley cemeteries I don't have indexes for these.

Hi Wendy I have but I sometimes wonder if they look properly, is there more than one cemetery in Yardley ?
