thanks for that if you look at earlier post one of the pictures is there ...looked at the advertising pamphlet for the Weoley had a smile at the phone no ...as all local phone numbers started with HAR for Harborne

Yes our mother took us all to see The King and I at that time it was a decent smart picture house. Saturday morning for 6d two films for kids. we use to que all alongs the side and it was always full. I think when it was demolised there was of all things a funeral directors on site at one time. The picture house was layed back from the row of shops next to the chippy (up hill)
