Hi lyn,
After your visit to the cemetery you're welcome to visit The Pen Room in Frederick St. for a cup of tea and to see our archives of Key Hill. Ring 0121 2369834 to let us know when you're coming so I can put kettle on.

Malcolm

I told Ken (keny r) the 11th, i don't think it will make any difference to him so put us both down for the tour

Morning Lyn,
I can't say yet whether I/we can make your trip to Key Hill on 17 October. It's the day after Barbara's birthday, and we may have family staying with us. Also we both went to Key Hill for the official open day about 3 years ago, but Barbara hasn't been to the Pen Room, so I might be able to encourage her. Still it's a long way to come from Croydon just for the day. Just possible though - I hope so.
Peter

hi peter..nice to hear from you and i hope both you and barbara are well..:) yes it is a long way to come and we always appreciate it when you come to our meet ups...ok i will put you and barbara down as a possible and hope to see you there...by the way thanks again for borrowing me the time team cd i shall return it when i see you next....ps its not really my meet up its wendys.....i am just looking after the paper work for her....lol

take care..

lyn x:)

Lyn,
Thanks for the message. Having checked now, I realise that it's the day for the AGM of the local Embroiderers' Group, so Barbara can't make it. But I will be able to join you, all things being well.
Peter

smashing peter...its a pity barbara cant make it but we look forward to seeing you again....

lyn.:)

Hi Lyn - I shall be at Key Hill anyway, so I'll tag along as well if I may. The blue bricks have been chiselled (reasonably ) free of mortar, Will try to finish them and get them laid before you all arrive -
ps Anyone coming who's good at laying patio's?
Key Hill Brian

Plus one, Chris (wife) wants to come along.

Hi David - Which Southwell's are you interested in?
My Grandfather died when my father (Albert) was only 2 - and as Gran remarred ( Bill Selvey), we never knew any other Southwells other than Brothers / Sisters of my Dad. He never reallt knew any of his Aunts / Uncles. There are obviously relatives of Mine I am unaware of that we may have in common.:)

hi brian..i was wondering how you were getting on with the bricks..sounds like you are getting there and i look forward to seeing the finished work...looks like we have a full afternoon ahead then..what with meeting at the the pub then a look round the cemetary and maybe the pen room...

see you soon...

lyn:)
