Welcome baby lily....

Just a little update about Lily. Unfortunatly 2 weeks ago Lily caught an infection after a blood tranfusion and was quite poorly the consultant had her transfered back to the QE thinking she may have to surgery. But i'm pleased to say an oporation wasnt needed and Lily responded realy well to the antibiotics. Today she has been sent back to heartlands, to a loverly reception from the doctors and nurses. she now wieghs THREE pounds 2oz. Mom Zoe is doing very well too. along with dad Steve they have had a real roller coaster few weeks. Tonight they were told Lily is doing exceptionley well and if she continues to do so she could be home in 3 weeks.

That sounds like a scary few weeks. I am so glad that Lily now seems to be doing well and has put on so much weight. I hope Lily is home in 3 weeks time - that would be wonderful for you all.
Thanks for letting us know.
Best wishes to you all
Polly :)
