A family member has tonight told us that we may be related to HARRY WEETMAN the professional golfer. Would anyone be able to find out what his parents names were or provide any information on where he was born.

Father Harry Weetman; Mother Martha E (Elizabeth?) Weetman nee Edwards. They married 3rd quarter 1911 Chorlton vol 8c page 1491.
Harry Weetman (Snr) possibly b. 1st q. 1884 Oswestry v 6a p 696
Martha Edwards possibly b. 4th q. 1888 Oswestry v 6a p 663

There is a very large transport company near Weston Staffordshire named Ed Weetman.

Thanks Wendy,now you mention it i have seen their lorries where i live near Coleshill,a lot of lorries pass through now since Sat Navs were invented,its an alternative route to the A5,Angela.
