Webster Booth's father, Edwin Booth, followed by Webster's brother, Edgar Booth ran Booth's hairdressers at 157 Soho Road, Handsworth. On the Webster side of the family, Webster's uncle, William Thomas Webster (who died in 1918) was a partner in Foster and Webster's clothiers. I believe this shop eventually became Foster Brothers. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who can tell me more about this business.

Regards,
Jean

Thank you for the information. Although there is quite a lot of information about Foster Brothers, I would be particularly interested to know something about the days when Foster (Henry, I think) was in partnership with William Webster, who died in 1918 and the company was called "Foster and Webster.
