That's brilliant work thanks Master Brummie.
Yes, and given the Anglo-Saxon name probably she came in from Canada, Australia or New Zealand maybe. What is your source for the E Rolls?Ancestry? As the place was listed as a hostel for overseas students I assume she was a student. She is not listed in 1949.
I did try looking at "incoming passengers" but without a DoB there were rather a lot to look at. Even restricting to 1949 or 1950 entry.
How so?
Yes, I'm researching a distant relative."husband of aunt of wife of second cousin 1x removed"
That is a long way from the 'home person' it has been derived.
Yes - Ancestry. However, I searched by address not name.Yes, and given the Anglo-Saxon name probably she came in from Canada, Australia or New Zealand maybe. What is your source for the E Rolls?Ancestry?
Dont think I can on my Library membership but I've turned up these on a name search.Notice Joseph Scott Webb(Scott was his MMN)becomes Joseph Scott-Webbe.Think this is going under the radar. However when he winds up living with his Mom the e drops off.Yes - Ancestry. However, I searched by address not name.
Do they disappear from Queen's gate gardens after 1950?I saw that but wasn't sure. I assume that is actually Margaret Taylor?
I has to strongly suspect that.yesI saw that but wasn't sure. I assume that is actually Margaret Taylor?
Corrected previous post from living with his sister to living with his Mother.I saw that but wasn't sure. I assume that is actually Margaret Taylor?
I didn't find the address in 1951 but as you have him elsewhere I suspect that they do.Do they disappear from Queen's gate gardens after 1950?

No way of telling but the list is a very long one so some must have been able to vote.He was a caretaker of overseas students but not sure if she was a student or another member of staff there.
So thats why no 1951 entry in the E Rolls can be found. The address ceased to exist after 1950.The entry in the 1950 phone book. By 1951 it has ceased to be listed.

Ancestry's relationship software doesn't sound so good in plain English I would agree. My 2nd Cousin once removed in the link, by the way, is Robert Foden 1925, hence my interest in the Children of William Foden thread. That's a bit of a convoluted relationship you have for him on his profile.
