Water Orton Bridge

(Bishop) John Vesey built the bridge using materials from the old manor house at Sutton Coldfield. It was added to the Scheduled List of Ancient Monuments in 1934. Over time it's been the subject of a number of repairs.

Apparently, the St Blaise panel, which was once placed in the bridge stonework and depicted St Gabriel, is now located in Curdworth Church for preservation.

Given its historical and rchitectural significance and Grade II listed status, I have separated out the discussion about the bridge into its own, dedicated thread.
