I remember a Dave Thomas who was an inspector at Washwood Heath. A very pleasant and popular workmate.Hi Les and everyone on the forum . I was looking through old images and stuff about Washwood Heath garage .My heart was warmed when I came across my late grandfathers name Dave Thomas . Just to update you all unfortunately at the young age of only 63 in 1996 my grandad died . I know he’d have chuffed to know people remembered him as he had warm memories of the people he worked with . I realise this thread is years old now but I’d love to talk to anyone who remembers my gentle giant of a grandad .
